Welcome to Super Sonic Seniors

For the past 20 years, I worked in the travel and tourism industry.  My plan was to retire and travel to the world’s most fascinating destinations.  I have visited 45 states in America, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Red Light district in Amsterdam.  I have been backstage at great music events, nearly fell off the side of a mountain in Hawaii, and lived like royalty in a Mexican resort.  I have cruised the Caribbean and the Mediterranean and visited paradise along the way.  I have stories to share.

My life has been an adventure, and just because I’m ready to retire doesn’t mean I’m ready to slow down.  I want to smell the ocean breezes of southeast Asia and taste the rich foods of Europe.  I want to see the natural wonders of the world, and feel the sand between my toes in Rio.  I want to grab life before death grabs me.

I know there are thousands of active seniors just like me who are ready to do the same thing, but they are reluctant.  We have the time, but can we afford it?  Is it safe to travel the world?  Is it worth the hassle of getting through airport security and finding transportation when I get to my destination?  Will my accommodations meet my expectations?  Will I find the most interesting restaurants and attractions?  There are lots of things to consider.

There is a solution, and I invite you to join me.  I have developed relationships with the top travel professionals in the world, and I have access to the behind the scenes adventures most only dream about.  And best of all, I am able to travel at greatly reduced costs.  When I travel with small groups, I get reduced rates on airfares, hotels, planned adventures and tours, ground transportation and cruises.  I feel safe, and I am confident that my accommodations and sightseeing excursions will be superior.

That’s what this blog is all about.  I will share some of my most exciting past experiences and invite you to join me for my next great adventure.
